“As the President of Fairmount Cemetery Association of Newark and Somerset Hills (NJ), I recommend Stewart Builders without hesitation. For the last several years, Stewart has served us ably on five major projects and a number of smaller projects, including the construction of a new service building, the demolition of three large century-old brick buildings, and two soil remediation excavations required by NJDEP. Stewart has been consistently attentive to project design, scheduling, and estimating, to securing all required governmental approvals, to enlisting subcontractors when necessary, and seeing to the progress and completion of the work on target as to schedule and cost. "Chris and his team recently completed a sewer line repair at my home, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, Chris was professional, thorough, and incredibly responsive in setting up the estimate and ultimately the job for us. I received daily communication from him, and he was extremely detailed in his answering of my questions, and explained the entire job from start to finish very clearly. His pricing was fair and he went over each aspect of the quote for me so that I knew exactly where the costs were coming from. Chris’s team was meticulous in their work, and I watched them take extraordinary care working around some very difficult obstacles in my yard as if they were working at their own home. His team was friendly, informative, and thorough, and left my property in substantially better condition than I had expected for needing to have my entire yard dug up. Dan even took the time to show my toddler all of his equipment, and constantly waved to her as she watched the entire job through the window- she was sorry to see him leave at the end of the work! To finish it all, Chris had a professional landscaper join his team and work tirelessly to rake, seed, and hay my entire yard with the intention of returning it to its normal condition as soon as possible.
